Trivia
- The statue of liberty
was played by frequent Red Box backing singer Sue Thomas. Summary
Props and imagery that
convey stereotypical American culture: cowboy hats, fast food, backing
singer Sue Thomas dressed as the Statue Of Liberty, etc. One
memorable segment features a huge rotating table made to look like a
record player, which Simon promptly falls off of. The general mood is
lighthearted and fun.

Opening scene: Julian gets all wound up.

Clockwork Julian debunks the rumour that using the typewriter requires
paper of some kind.

"Look here, Julian, we're on television!"

Simon is hanging upside-down and narrowly avoids getting smacked in the
face by a passing flying hamburger. Go back and re-read that last
sentence. I don't really have to make a joke here, do I?

Simon runs along a flag as dollar bills hit him in the face (yeah, I hate
it when that happens, too).

The lovely Lady Liberty. Shades of Pet Shop Boys' "Go
West" video years later.

"Every house must have it's hat on..."
