Lyrics
Work all day, sleep all night
When do we come out to fight?
Voodoo freak, tatoo king
You'll be safe beneath our wing
Midnight sun, midday moon
Showing somewhere near you soon
This whole world
Flashing by
My whole life
Passing by
Chorus:
Go internationale
We're on our way to Heaven
Black or white, rich or poor
You'll be welcome at my door
Son of God, God of Sun
They will fail you every one
Rising sea, falling sky
It's getting hard to keep me dry
This whole world
Flashing by
My whole life
Passing by
Chorus
This whole world
Run by fools
My whole life
Flashing by
Commentary
"The first and sadly only single from Red Box's
second album Motive, Train is a fairly straightforward
lament on the modern condition. It also stands out as one of the
best Red Box songs, with a brilliant and memorable chorus and interesting
intro. The remixes are well worth a listen as well. I
recommend getting the full set: 7" (or tape) 12" and CD, as
there are good exclusive tracks on all of them. If you must choose
between them, go with the CD. "
