Lyrics

[This track has no lyrics per se, and is built around a long sample from the 1973 film O Lucky Man!  A man is being questioned about his involvement with the Communist party.  The dialogue is as follows...]

1: Ah, let's start at the beginning.  When did you join the party?

2: Last year.

1: How much are they paying you?

2: Three hundred a month.

1: Three hundred what?

2: Pounds... rubles.

1: Was your headmaster correct to expel you from school?

2: Yes.

1: Do you believe that children are the hope of the future?

2: Yes.

1: Do you believe in the fellowship of man?

2: Yes.

1: Think carefully.

2: No.

1: Do you rate loyalty above obedience?

Commentary

"The entire track is basically that one long sample, with some ambient synths and animal noises added in.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  Reminiscent of Saint Etienne's "Etienne Gonna Die" from Foxbase Alpha, which was based around a scene from David Mamet's House Of Games."
