Lyrics

[all lyrics are spoken samples]

Christians Who Kill
Christians Who Kill
Christians Who Kill
Christians Who Kill
Ahh!

We're about out of ideas on this planet.
We're about out of ideas on this planet.

The church is here, and the new Seventh Seal prayer revival, breaking the seventh seal, is going to shake the heavens from the Earth and the whole universe in a mighty new revival! Thus sayeth the Lord, and the Revelation.

Christians Who Kill
Ahh!

[in the following sample, each line is repeated by audience]
Almighty eternal God
Our lord Jesus Christ
O, lamb of God
We enter your presence now
Bringing all the people
Viewing this telecast
Throughout the world
We lay our hands upon the healing force
Heal them as the people in the Bible
Bring them forth to the altar
We take this sacred form of the holy spirit
That you have given us
And we send him throughout the world now
To heal the sick
To cast out every oppressive spirit
And every possessing spirit
Until the day of judgment
They shall be bound
By the spirit of God
We impart this Holy Spirit
To the life and body
Of everyone viewing now...

I'm glad you could call
because it's time for bed

I'm hoisted by my own petard

Trivia

- The first samples are from Bill Hicks, and the long sample is apparently from an American televangelism broadcast.

- The term "hoist by [one's] own petard" has origins in Shakespeare's Hamlet, and means "caught in one's own trap".

- On the SPA CD, this song shares a track with the reprise of Made In Heaven.  There are about 15 seconds of silence between them.

Commentary

"The final proper track on SPA, Christians Who Kill handily summarizes the tracks which came before it by featuring Bill Hicks quotes, a long sample, and fun production tricks.  When the song is over, wait a few seconds for a reprise of the smashing Made In Heaven."
