Commentary

"This CD release includes two volumes of the series.  The first volume was enormously successful in vinyl release, with some 125,000 copies shifted in 1983.  The second volume (on which Red Box appear) was sadly only originally released in Japan for some reason.  

Although the price is reasonable at about ten pounds for two CDs, keep in mind that the original version of Chenko is not spectacularly different from the version on The Circle And The Square.  If you're extremely keen on hearing the original Chenko on CD, I'd go with the Ambition collection.  It's the same price but a better value with an Andy Partridge rarity and other treats."
