True Maddy Stories
Okay, first thing' first here... This entry is completely true. It is not made up, exaggerated, or anything of the sort. What's more, both things below happened on the very same day!
Saturday, June 4th, 2005:
The bushes out front have been looking a bit shaggy lately, so we bought a Black & Decker electric hedge trimmer. Not a bad idea, but then Madeline decides to try it out and within minutes she's used the thing to cut through its own power cord! D'oh!
Later that same day...
I had an extra Sony flat screen PC monitor which I haven't used for awhile, and decided to let Madeline use it instead. Imagine my surprise when she told me that it didn't seem to be working. When I came to examine it, it turned out that she didn't have it plugged in! Maybe she thought that it ran on love or cosmic vapour or something...

What can I say?....Well...It was a hot day....my brain had been a bit fried I guess...I was feeling a bit dizzy from heat exhaustion. Besides....I'm not the only person in the world to cut through a power cord with a hedge trimmer....and I could have sworn I plugged that damn monitor in! Ya make it sound like I am some sort of freak of nature. Maybe I am ...a little bit. That doesn't mean that I am not cute!
